I am currently enrolled in The Columbia College Fire Science/ Fire Academy and know that I want to become a career Fire Fighter. I have currently submitted my resume fot a seasonal position for the Forestry Technician in Fire Fighting and woulld like to know about other possible routes to be a great asset fot a California Fire Department. Hi. Im 26 and have been a foreman for a roofing crew in New Jersey since i was 20. Im soon to be married and wanted to make a career change. This has been a life-long aspiration. My Grandfather is a retired Chief of Cinnaminson Fire Co. I have aunts and uncles who are all serving as volunteers. I thought it was about time to do what i always wanted to do and make it my career. Any helpful tips and advice to make this happen would be much appreciated. Thank You.

im currently a cpl. in the marine corps, im stationed in iraq and will be comming back to the states in about 3 months, i will finish my four years in august and wanted to become a firefighter in florida if anyone has any advice or tips that would be great

Hey guys, im wanting to become a firefighter, but I have no experience, at all. I have many firefighting friends that shows and has explained alot of stuff I'll need to know, n Im wanting to give it a shot. Any advice? Should I join a volenteer dept., try putting in applications, or going through training first?

Truman college in Chicago and searching for any available positions in any fire station or any training to become a firefighter. the problem i'm having, is were to look for cal city fire jobs. all i want is to find entry level city fire jobs. i have volunteered and worked seasonl for about 6 yers. i am finnishing my emt in college, and have more info about my self and goal to tell. i just don't know were to look. i have no paid firefighters to ask, i don't know any. - greg atkins ff company# 33 bellavista CA
