Description:

Combination Department. Paid chief, captain, fire inspector, Lt., and one engineer. 30 volunteers. Volunteer Assistant Chief, and two volly Lt.s 3 engines, one 95 foot stick. 2 square mile coverage area. Pop. 4500-4800 year round and up to 25,000 during peak tourist weeks.

It's a small town dept. that works very well together with our career and volunteer members. We work together, train together and party together. Our citizens and our families back us 100%. Ya' caint get no betta den dat!

Advice for prospective applicants:

There will be no openings for a few years. Those of us that are career will have to be drug out by our heels when retirement time comes!!!
