About Me:
I started in the Fire / Emergency Service in 1986, unless you count 1977 when my families home burned in Wharton, TX. I started with a small volunteer department in Lolita, TX. Then worked for Cuero EMS, Victoria EMS, and Lockhart FIre. I attended my first EMT course while still in High School in 1987. I have been a certified Firefighter since 1995 and have worked for Lockhart Fire Rescue since 1995. I nowhold Advanced Certifcations in Fire & Fire Cause Investigator, I hold my Fire Officer I & II, Instructor III, Driver Operator. I have attended Swift Water Rescue several times as well as too many rescue and Hazardous Materials classes and certs to keep up with. I am currently serving as Sec / Tres for the Lockhart Professional Firefighter Association and currently serve as Chaplain as well. I am a licensed and Ordained Minister and serve as Pastor at Staples Baptist Church. I have been married for 17 years to my wonderful wife Amy and we haver 2 beautiful daughters. Some day I hope to narrow my life down to 2 jobs or so.
