- About Me:
- I am a Fitness Professional and certified EMT. I train hard and work every day towards my goal and my only career choice...the Fire Department. My October article in Providence's "Federal Hill Gazette"----------------------------------------------------- Raise Your Natural Testosterone---------------------------------------- . This may be a sore subject for some. I see many bodybuilders in the gym trying to gain mass, but not concentrating on training legs. They would rather spend their time working on their chest and shoulders or one of the muscle groups in the upper body. What they don’t realize is that working out your legs is one of the most important things you can do in order to build more overall muscle. Working your legs has many benefits and in not doing so you are greatly reducing your body’s potential to grow. Training legs does not only build leg strength and muscle, but it also dramatically increases and stimulates muscle growth to your chest, arms and back. Your legs consist of some of the biggest muscles in your body and are your body’s support. Your legs can only carry as much muscle as they can support before you start developing muscular imbalances. Your body will then prevent you from retaining any more lean body mass until the imbalances have been corrected. When you train your legs and your legs get bigger and stronger your body is able to hold and support more muscle, promoting more overall strength. If you want more mass up top, pay more attention to the muscles down below. There are many different factors on how much muscle we can build, which include training, intensity, nutrition, supplementation, adequate rest, and genetics. A few more major factors in this equation are your body’s natural levels of anabolic hormone testosterone. Testosterone and growth hormones are the most important building blocks to getting more lean muscle mass. Because your legs hold some of the biggest muscles in your body, they produce extra growth hormone and increased testosterone. One of the reasons a lot of bodybuilders don’t work legs is because of the agony they have to endure during recovery. Because the muscles in the legs are so big and take so long to recover, they need to excrete more growth hormone to do so. This helps other body parts grow as well. More growth hormone means more overall growth to your body. The greater stress you put on your muscles the more testosterone your body is forced to produce. Doing compound exercises, such as squats, lunges, and one of my favorites, deadlifts, will improve your physical power and increase your natural testosterone and growth hormone levels. There have been recent studies proven to show doing deadlifts has many benefits besides dramatically raising growth hormone and testosterone levels. Doing deadlifts will increase your metabolism at incredible rates and transform fat into pure energy, enhances all stamina and performance, drastically improves lung functionality and heart efficiency, boosts your immune system, helps urination and detoxification, makes you speedy, powerful, leaner and energetic. There are other things you can do to raise your testosterone levels. Limit consumption of alcohol, as it has a lot of effects on testosterone levels. Reduce intake of soy products. It raises body’s levels of estrogen. Eat more cruciferous veggies, such as broccoli, cauliflower, and turnips. Increase your essential fatty acids by eating fish, peanuts, avocadoes, and healthy oils like flax seed, olive and canola. Try to get more sleep and stress less. Stress stimulates cortisol levels which causes your testosterone to plummet. Lack of sleep also heightens cortisol levels. Bodybuilders who sleep more than 7 hours have much higher testosterone levels than those who sleep less than 7 hours. Start intense leg training and implement these techniques for massive results. Good Evening Everyone, I sincerely hope you all had a Great day, if not just try this:
Ok....so, this is going to sound weird, but try it when you are having a bad day, and you will see that it becomes trendy with others around you and you all start feeling like your having a Great day again..
So...here it is.....Start laughing, and then laugh harder, and then you know what....you will just start laughing so hard cause you feel weird and happy, but you will feel much better.
Let me know how it works when you are having a bad day, and if someone tells you , you are weird. Just say ya, but my bad day just got better with the laughter, and how do you feel. You should try it. Laughter is good for the body and your perspective on life feels better with more laughter. OK.....OK......So, you think that was weird, and that I am too.....but don't you feel better. Guess what I feel better......lol
Take care and have a Bouncing night or day!!!!
