About Me:
I was in EMS since 1980, I dropped my certification in September of 2007. In April of 2001 I joined the Colo (IA.) Fire & Rescue. I earned my FFI certification in 2002. In 2004 I moved from Colo to Kelley, IA. to be closer to my daytime job at Iowa State University Police Department, where I've been for 28 years. I so wish I would of got into the fire service years ago but when I retire from my law enforcement job in less than two years. I want to devote more time to the fire service. One way of doing that is to move back to Colo, Iowa, were I began my fire fighting. It's the city I call home, even though I grew up in Nevada, Iowa and was born and lived five years in Postville, Iowa. I am married, a father of two grown children,a grandfather of one grandson at this time, hoping for more. I value family & friends, I am a proud American. I stand behind our law enforcement, firefighters, EMS & military 100%.
