- About Me:
I'm a simple person, I like to set with my lady and watch movies. I was married for 29 years to a very wonderful lady (Linda) who passed before her time. I was able to find another wonderful lady (Ann) and we have been together for the last 8 years. In my life I joined the Navy from Highschool, after Boot Camp at Great Lakes NTC I was stationed at NAS Memphis TN, NAS Key West FL, and NAS Oceana Virginia Beach VA. While stationed in Virginia Beach I found my career passion and joined the Virgina Beach Fire Department as a volunteer. I've been a volunteer Firefighter for over 36 years and made it to the rank of Deputy Chief. I wanted to be a paid firefighter but my first ladies illness forced me to seek jobs with good health bennies. But I have no regrets. I've been an Emergency Medical Technician, a Truck Driver, Mechanic, , and Telecommunication Technician. I have an Associates Degree in Fire Science, Telecommunication Electronics, and Computer Repair and Networking Technology. I had three children, a son and two daughters. But the first hurt in my life came when my last daughter passed at the age of 3 months. Annie has 3 kids also two boys and a daughter. Together we have eleven grand children, seven girls and four boys. Ann had one grandson that passed after a few days of life. I have a wonderful and thoughtful brother and three sisters. I like hot rods, motor cycles, and camping. I've been a Boy Scout both as a child and adult leader. I am a Mason and Shrinner also. I am also proud to say that my son is an Eagle Scout, and a paid proffessional Firefighter.
