About Me:
I have needed to update this for awhile now, but I was the girlfriend of an amazing fireman. I never want to forget him as I have great memories of him. He was a great man and I was really just so touched by what he had done with his life and the fire service, I feel that way about all of you.... Everyday I learn something new and look forward to learning more. He will remain forever in my heart. With that being said, I am a 38 year old who works in the legal profession. I love what I do almost as much as being close to the fire department. I travel almost as much as I work and can't sit still for more than 5 seconds. I not only had Mike in my life, but owe a great deal to another local dept near my town...My sister and her kids were in a very bad house fire back in Feb 08....if not for the braveness of a young man and the help of one Granite City Police officer and the braveness of the Granite City Fire Department my niece Chelse and her sibblings would not be here today. Even though she suffered third degree burns, over most of her upper body, she has a great attitude and a new family in the GC police and GC fire dept. And they forever have our thanks and support.
