I started my fire service career in 1976 as a volunteer. I enlisted in the Air National Guard in 1984 and I have just completed my 24th year of military fire protection service. During 2004, I served as the Fire Chief at Baghdad International Airport for the USAF. I am a local level instructor at Harrisburg Area Communty College. I teach all the NIMS courses and Terrorism Preparedness. I am a Haz Mat Technician with the Dauphin County,PA Haz Mat Team. Also, certified as an EMT since 1979. Profeesional certifications that I have are FF I, II, III ( yeah I am that old...lol), Driver Operator/ Pumper, ARFF, Mobile Water Supply, Airport FF, Haz Mat Awareness, Ops , Technican and HM IC. Fire Officer I, II, III, IV, Fire Inspector I, II, III, Fire Instructor I, II, III and Telecommincator I,II

    To my friends here, I just had an experience that is moving beyond words. While I was deployed to Iraq, i received a T-shirt from Ladder 20 of the FDNY. Ladder 20 lost members on 9/11. As I was browsing the web I found a website for Ladder 20. On the website was an incredible video that they made, there were copies of emails that I and many of my firefighters over there sent them as well as photos.
