About Me:
everyone wants to be a ff when they are kids right? i thought that was just a phase and blew it off, now here i am, a machinist/moldmaker at 29 years old realizing that feeling is still there and i am not gonna shake it, setting up for school for classes i need or that will help me become a ff. hopefully its not too late :( trying to find a department near bartlett il. to volunteer at to gain experience while going to school, im hitting a brick wall, but in time im gonna knock that wall down.

    nah its cool man, btw GCFD is getting some new rigs kinda sim to the one i have as a pro pic. the wheels are chrome and there is reflective tape on the front bumper and rear. the engine in profile pic only has reflec on back. they look good along with the new buses we got.

After that last test I kinda lost hope for something that I NEED to be. Just need to get my foot in the door. Trying to stay focused. Looking into getting my associates degree in fire science. On line of course. Where are you taking the classes for emt-b? Been there myself. Wasn't to easy for me. I just don't test well. I passed the class but not the final for certification.     Just after 8 this morning Steve's department was called out to a fully involved house fire. A neighbor called it in that the flames were above the trees. By the time they could get there the roof had caved. After it was out they found the owner inside. Maybe you could stop by and see how he's doing in a bit. The still are not home, but I haven't heard any traffic on the pager in quite a while so it should be any time now. I just dont know if he will talk to me or try to protect me from it. KWIM?

    What up man? No dice here either!!! Took the test, waited, didn't get pushed thru to the physical. What's messed up though, is they didn't even tell me my score!! So I don't know how bad or good I did. Alot of people were there!! Talked to one of the FF that were there and they only needed like 5-8 FF. That was golden oppurtunity for me. Entry level!! I mean come on.!! Still in pursuit. We'll see. Looks like you found a loop hole on your end. Good luck man. Have a great holiday brotha'!!
