Lets see here, ever since I was a little kid I have dreamed of being a firefighter. I joined the volunteer fire company for about a year. I moved out to Arkansas to get married. Then we moved back to Virginia. Like everyone I could never seem to find time to join the local volunteer fire department.
The turning point in my life was when I had a motorcycle accdent and crushed my left ankle. I had to have 6 or 7 surgeries to fuse my ankle together. I couldn't walk or do any thing for a year. I finaly went back to work at the company that I had been working at prior to the accdent. I was at lunch and seen a Fairifax county fire investigator. That is when I thought to my self that I could do that. So I started looking for a college to get a BS in fire science.
