I used to be a firefighter way back when I was in shape. Now I just keep my EMT current and support my husband who's been on the same fd in our town for 20 + years. I love hanging out at the firehouse and the guys are just great. I probably am the only spouse to help out during holidays and get togethers, and parades (with the exception of the assistant chief's wife-she helps more than me).
