I am a 3rd generation volunteer firefighter with Rural Grove Volunteer Fire Dept. I joined their explorers shortly ofter a family in my church lost their home in a fire.     Hey Brother. Yup, we are practically neighbors, Im right down here in Cobleskill. Doesnt one of your brothers work FT in our county dispatch center? I stopped by one day with the Ambulance and saw him washing his truck and he gave us the tour of your house. His voice was familiar and he told us he was a dispatcher for our county! Thought that was interesting to meet the face behind the voice. We should hook up some time and find something to do! (but no trouble!!) Moose

    Yeah, we had that fire over in Perth (furniture store) http://cu.leaderherald.com/pages/gallery.php?gallery=300113 I'm the only fireman from my department with a "2" on the helmet. P.S. the coat is also black like the rest of Broadalbin.

    Yeah that garage with the tractor in it (at the end of the video of Fiber Conv.), was where I was initially shooting water in with another guy my age.... (thats when we first got there!!! INSANE!!!) Our job was to push the smoke and heat back to where the fire was (you can see it in the video), because there was an explosive substance in a big canister (about the size of a soda tap barrel) that one of our guys went in to extract while Neil and I pushed the heat back with a pattern of water!
