Your coming home in a day damn you gotta make your way down here! It is hot as hell I mean drinkin' 2 gallons or so a day but never taking a piss. Are you done when you come home or are you still in? Work is slow cause all the rain but now we're out working on the state forest, building fence, mending fence, cleaning the creeks and lakes, cooking out, swimming, mowing, fishing, and just going out riding the four wheelers for hours, but the best is when we take the buggy out at night to spotlight deer so we can track their movements and get an estimate of how many are n or around our property. Hell Yeah ! and they pay us to do this!

I would say North or east Florida. Every year Brevard County (east FL) has several large fires around Palm Coast, Daytona, Cocoa Beach they usually have the big ones. Up north they have more fires as they are more rural and more planted pines.
I'm in central florida and this year in my distict weve had 200 or so fires. I figure where ever you go you'd get plenty of tractor time. Except south fl no woods left all concrete

Hey trying to stay busy here my guys burned 1000 acres yesterday using the helicopter and today were doing the same. I recieved a phone call from a man that burn's for a living, he wants me to start immediately with him part time for $250 a day. I'm gonna make some money this summer! Last nite I went over to a friends shop and worked on his F550 4x4 four door. We put four 8's in the doors and four tweeters with them their running of a DHD 1000 watt amp then the two 12's in the rear are playing off another 1400 watts. The damn thing is so loud thart with the windows up I could here the words perfect from inside a convience store. Deafining!

For us fire season and hurricane season run together. Fire 1st then Hurricane starts around June and runs thru the end of Oct. Hard to believe isn't it that we can have a drought with terrible fires and the get hit by a hurricane all at the same time. It's too much fun to pass up though. Plus when Cali is on fire or anywhere else out there we can get deployed out there to make an extra 5-6000
bucks on top ofregular check. We go out for two weeks at a time it's work but feels like a vacation plus we do other things like when the shuttle broke up over Texas we went out there to recover pieces. Mo money Mo money

Hey when you get back come on down and I'll show you what we do. It doesn't matter where you wanna work at there are positions all over the state. I'm waiting on a couple of good hurricanes this year so I can make some serious jack. Hurricane clean up is something else we do and pumping operations for flood relief. Hell we do it all and love every bit of it.
