These are known industry wide as the best and lightest bunker boots to have. Unfortunately, they run around $275. A local store here had some sizes on sale for $110 a while back.

Very Comfortable Boot only drawback is you cant wear them on hazmat runs, Excellent boot for ventilation ops and interior firefighting. Once broken in they feel like slippers not a turnout boot.

I see more firefighters switching to these boots. They have way better traction, fit more comfortably and a lot warmer during the colder seasons.

Best bunker boots I ever wore. Having worn rubber boots for many years, I figured to give these boots a try. I would not switch back for anything. Very comfortable.

they are awsome becaouse if u r in a rush you dont have to worry about getting blisters on your feet from not wearing any socks. they feel like sneakers.

Feel just like tennis shoes. I don't have to worry about the feet aching from those old rubber boots that have absolutely no cushion to them. Will never go back to rubber boots again.

Just waiting for my clothing allowance check and I too will have the best made boot in the industry. Many of my coworkers have other styles of this boot and swear by leather boots. I personally have not worn such a boot and have always had the classic, heavy, rubber boots that all know and love. Recently when I was at the Paul Conway FF Combat Challenge, I noticed that almost all of the compeditors wore leather boots. Mostly because they were light and they felt like wearing running shoes with support. Can't wait to get my own pair!

This is what I wear at HVFD, most comfortable boot I have ever wore, inluding duty boots. They fit like a comfortable shoe and also very light. You can work in these boots for hours. I can't work in Rubber boots for very long, just never found any that didn't kill my feet. Awesome boots, and easy to get on and of due to the cut out in the back where it drops down on the calf and doesn't cut into you either. Ready to wear right out of the BOX !

I really loved this boot when I first got it about 3 years ago. Company came in and took measurements for PPE and Boots. Great support and superior traction. Only downside-it was a pain to get off. I begin to have trouble putting it on (very tight) after I was off duty for a few weeks and then nearly every fire it was tight.

well these are the most comfortable boots i have ever worn. The 5006's power toe is great better traction while crawling and most important less wear and tear on the toes so they last a little longer saving you cash.
