As a police vehicle, it is very agile in responding to emergencies. I am sure it is just as good as a fire vehicle.

Great truck. I have a Tahoe. Agile they are not.

Good size to haul what you need, but it needs to be available in a diesel model. I have a 2003 model but it is not diesel.

I love the chevy suburban, even have one home in the driveway that the Boss uses. In all honesty we went to Excursions a couple of years ago and I am a convert. I like the ride and the seats on the Suburban but as you may have noticed over the last several years they have shrunk and you no longer have the room and carrying capacity that they once had. Also the fact that it was difficult to get diesel engines in them for a while made it a better deal getting the Ford... So I guess I am saying that if you cannot get an Excursion the Suburban is good.....

Nice looking truck. Both of my departments have excursions and explorers for squads and command vehicles
