| Description: | A forcible entry training simulator. |
Chris posted this for The Inforcer and asked me to do a description. I give it 5 stars because I am part of the company so may be a little biased. LOL
The Inforcer is a firefighter forcible entry simulator that allows firefighters to learn about and train on inward and outward swinging evolutions, hinge cuts, drop bar bolt cuts, padlock cutting/breaking and dead bolt cutting. It was designed by firefighters for firefighters. In my first 7 years in the fire service I had very little actual forcible entry training. And from talking to many people around the country that is the norm. The Inforcer was initially developed to help train firefighters at a large fire department in Texas because we could not always acquire actual structures to train on forcible entry. We have had success in using it and wanted to give other departments and fire academies a fairly economical way of teaching forcible entry. The best part is the realism that it affords. How many FF's have ever got the opportunity to cut a hinge or a drop bar bolt? You actually have to bend metal on the inward and outward evolutions. On the cutting stations you are cutting similar materials to what you will find on many structures. All of the consumables can be gotten locally or purchased from us. And to be honest since this is a review, that is the only downside to the simulator. The consumables can be purchased fairly cheap (roughly $5/student). We always tell people to look around and see what props work for you, but we have a proven track record with this simulator. We have born the cost of development so you no longer have to come up with homemade props. Our number one goal is to increase the knowledge and techniques in forcible entry throughout the nation. We are always happy to talk to any customers about concerns or answer any questions at all. We also offer an excellent forcible entry training class. If you are close enough we can bring the simulator to your department and let you use it for the class and we also talk about thru the lock evolutions, overhead doors and much more. Contact us for pricing. If you purchase a door we give a train the trainer class via DVD but are more than happy to drive/fly and give a full class on delivery. We just ask for expenses to be paid. Thanks for checking out The Inforcer. Go to our website for video and more info. www.theinforcerllc.com
We trainined on this just the other day & I love it. I can't wait to get on it again! It is great to keep at one of your stations and rotate crews by that station to get some time on it! What a great idea! Thanks Inforcer!! I'm with him...where I work there are not that many fires so we need to be able to train more on unconventional props. We live in a wealthy area...no run down projects so we don't get to practice on real buildings....so this works so well!! Ask your chief for one next shift!!
i hope to get the chance to train on one of these they look awsome
Sounds like a great way to train on forcible entry. I'd love to recieve more information on this product!
This simulator was my favorite thing about forcible entry class. It will make a man out of you.
