| Description: | The Combi-Tool is a combination shovel and pick all in one. This multipurpose tool is used to shovel, pick, scrape, and cut all in the convenience of a single tool. It is made to the US Forest Service Specifications and is made by Council Tools. This is an invaluable tool that all wildland firefighters should have in their tool stash! Wood handle only. |
Any extra info on this tool is hard to find but is one of the most important tools to have infighting wildland fires. It's a hard choice between this and the Pulaski but of course it depends on the terrain.
I agree Its this or the pulaski for me on the line.Wildland firefighting isnt always a liesurely stroll through the woods.I like to have a tool that is going to do the work of many and this is one of them
Ok tool for mopup or occaisional fireline construction, most professional wildland firefighters would rather modify and add a larger shovel head to move more dirt and add weight. Look at the Troop Tool from dragonslayers.com if you want a quality line construction tool.
I love the product the first time i used it i went out after i got off the call and bought me three or them
First time I used this tool I didn't think it would work well but after working with it for a little while I found it works really well especially during mop-up operations.
