Great light. This light has three settings high, low and flashing. It cuts through the smoke very well. The price varies based on the batteries.

Very good light puts off a good amount of light. I really like the flashing feature it has on it.

I love this light. So damn handy. It is really durable. I had a little brush fire and my light fell in. Stupid me, but the light came out fine. I've lost count of how many times I've dropped it, and it still works.

I think every firefighter should have one when entering a burning structure

I like the ease of on/off with gloves on. It hooks well on the turnout coat, and sheds good light.

Probably the best light i have ever used. I would recomend getting the rechargeable with battery pack. Its a waste to keep putting batteries in.

i have used both the led and the regular bulb, and the LED doesnt seem to cut through smoke like the regular bulb kinda like your head lights on your car in fog the brights shine back into your eyes and the regular bulb is like your low beam, if your not dealing with smoke conditions then i would say the LED is the way to go, but for firemen who want to see in the smoke go with the regular bulb

I found that during night duty, I use these Streamlights very often. They are good in fog, the dark, smokey filled air, confined spaces and hard to locate crooks and cranies. I highly recommend them for the Firefighters, and EMS personnel as well. If you only use them once, you will have paid for them. The clip to your jacekt or vest, or can be carried on your belt.

I love my survivor light. It cuts through the smoke well. I use my light all the time--whenever i go camping i take it off of my bunker coat and use it in the woods. If you are going to buy the light i recomend you buy the rechargeable battery pack and charger, the flashlight with the battery and charger retails for about $129.95. Well worth the price.
