I think this is a very nice product that gives you a better view of things. Its hands free and doesn't get caught up on anything like those other side mounting flashlights. I think this particular headlamp is the future in firefighting, and will help aid in tasks such as search & rescue.

I first reviewed the head lamp back in January. I originally bought this light because I wanted a light that would not get caught up easily while doing interior searches. Also because I wore a helmet that had a shield on it and I didn't want to interfere with its operation. The light is streamline and tight to the helmet. I wear it at my career Department because it is so useful on EMS assignments. It is by far the best Headlamp you can by for the money.

Awesome light. Extremely bright and it cuts through smoke very well. I also like the fact that it has a flashing light on the back of the power pack so firefighters behind you can see you, as if they would have any trouble seeing the massive glow from the front of your helmet.

This thing is bright ! All the guys in a fire think a frieght train is coming at them. Cuts through the smoke . Fits nicely on the helmet and stays out of the way .
