| Description: | he 2002 Reed Hood is the newest and most up-to-date design from the legendary Captain Clifford Reed. It has 3 layers of protection: 7.5 Bronze PBI, CROSSTECH on Nomex facecloth moisture barrier and Navy Nomex fleece lining. The 2002 Reed Hood offers the very high traditional Reed Hood levels of insulation but with two important advancements: Improved patterning and constructioning for a better "lay" on the body and better helmet interface and the superior comfort and moisture management properties of fleece, but Nomex to deliver flame resistance and thermal stability as well. |

This hood is not for rookies. It provides you with so much more protection. It is a must for live burn instructors! I swear by mine! I use it it on all live burns (I do watch and listen to the less fortunate sock hood wearers) I was able to get a good deal from a friend....he bought it now and then never wore it so I got it for $25. I would recommend putting your coat over it...don't wear it on the outside or over your coat.

THis hood profides great facial covrage. it fits well around the scba mask and sets well on a persons head. ot also provides good neck coverage. i recommend this hood to any and all personnel that would liek to use it. you will surely agree in its preformance.

This hood provides great facial coverage. Fits very well around the SCBA mask and sets well on your head also provides great neck coverage. Recommended to any and all personnel that would like. you will definitely agree on this hoods performance. A Great buy for the money you will spend... I love mine...
