I'm in college full time but I also work paid EMS full time at nights. I just got hired working as an ER Tech so I'll be doing that on weekends.

I'm in college for Criminal Justice so hopefully I'll be a cop, or a Medic considering I'm starting Medic School in September.

Definitely, its pretty safe? i guess. the chemicals worked with are not so safe and dont actually have the proper safety equipment but i guess you'll have that. not just electricity i work with, i work with the tools (hot sticks) that the linemen crews work with all over the world. name a city and i can tell you the company in your area i worked for pretty much.

Before I became a full time paid Firefighter/Medic, I was a Land Surveryor for 12 years and belonged to a Volunteer department for the last 3 years of the surveying job. I honestly can't see going back to construction after working for the fire department for the last year. Best job in the world! Today For monthly truck checks I had to run several of our wildland ATV's through the snow and the mud to see that they were working right. What a job!
