Is it true, what Alex Jones says about the military being forced to harrass
citizens there? And peoples property being taken away for the Trans-
Texas corridor?

Alex Jones is a wack job that has somehow convinced people to give him funding for a show. But yes it is partially true about the Trans-texas corridor. They are using imminent domain to take land for the corridor among other projects. But OUR representatives voted to allow it.

Most of what Alex says is true and can be verified by main stream media, but he is a nutcase in how he presents himself, so most don't like him. But his info is usually correct. I have not heard of any military harrassing anyone, other than the stuff he shows, but that is all old stuff to my knowledge. The governemnt always has, and always will, be able to take land for "improvements". No one ever really owns land if they decide they want it for something, they will offer you a price, and give you X amount of time to accept the offer and vacate it. This is the case everywhere.

Just like religion. It's up for interpretation. But Chase is correct on the fact that you don't own anything. Not even your vehicle if you read you registration. Well atleast in TN I know it states if told to do so you must surrender it to the state

Hmm, interesting. And yes, I've seen here in Central Oregon where they have offerred money for the land
for road improvements, and if you turn it down- they take it.

Yes they are talking about using Eminent Domain to acquire ROW for the TTC. I seriously think that it will fall by the wayside after Perry leaves office, because this seems to be a pet project of his. In theory it seems to be a good idea but I truly doubt that we will any construction in my lifetime.

The TTC is only in the design study phase right now, so most are really up in arms over nothing (for now). It will be interesting to see what happens when they actually start purchasing land.

I agree TVFD502. It will be very interesting to see what happens when they do starting purchasing.
