Posted 9 months ago Chase1, maybe you could illustrate to the members how to insert pics into threads. Share what browser settings may be necessary; what browser you use; what code may need to be typed. I've tried everything, and I still can't seem to be able to. I use IE7 on my laptop, and AT&T Yahoo's browser on my desktop.

Posted 9 months ago yea I have fought off several attempt at people wanting me to tell them how to post videos in the forum post. Before we go furher with passing that knowledge, can we run it past the powers that be and make sure they got no problem with it ? One Shot. One Kill. Ready to die but never will!!!!! R.I.P. Chesty

Posted 9 months ago You can "embed" videos from break.com or youtube.com in these threads. But we prefer if you download them, then post them in the video section. That way you can get points for the video, and everyone can find it to rate and comment on it.

Posted 9 months ago I didn't think youtube let you download videos. I've seen lots that I have been wanting to post in the video section but can't get it to work. So I gave up :-(

Posted 9 months ago You can google search for "youtube video conversion" and find several programs; some free, some not; to convert youtube files into downloadable media formats to fit .mpeg, .mov, .mp4 etc. file formats. I just haven't really check that much for one I like yet. Chase1 used one on a trial basis, then they made him pay or dump it.

Posted 8 months ago you can also add a link, but that obviously takes you to the source page.

Posted 8 months ago when adding links you can do the code like this... so it will open the links in a new page so it doesn't take the viewer away from FL. < a href="URL" target=_blank > click here Just put your url to the video in between the quotes as you type the rest of the code. Hope this helps without making the moderators mad at me. ;-)

Posted 8 months ago P. S. There is extra spaces between the < and a and between blank > so that you can read the code. just remove those spaces to use the code with your links.
