Posted 2 months ago sometimes. Probably a hand full of times from the Firefighters. Gotta do what ya gotta do. But I don't see a department making you have to. When I do a standby, and I do have it, I'll put some in the truck I drive

Posted 2 months ago not here. all the trucks have credit cards from various gas stations around. however, usually we fill from the borough gas tank (we some sort of agreement with them). the cards are only used in an emergency. if a FF does fill it outta pocket, they're re-embursed then next meeting.

Posted 2 months ago We take the money out of the department fund. It is nearly empty right now though so hopefully we don't need fuel anytime soon.

Posted about 1 month ago ya we pay $3.90 ish for regular in Cali. I'm glad they don't tax gas.. It already cost aproximitly(sp?) 75 dollars tofill up a tank.

Posted about 1 month ago We don't pay out of our personal pockets but our Board of Directors pay for it out of the money we get each year as apart of our budget. Our department gets it's gas from the County Fuel Pumps... and I am sure that the board gets the bill for that. You have to use a special key and punch in a code to enable the pump.

Posted about 1 month ago Our county tax payers pay for our gas pretty much. Wehave gas cards in all of our engines so it's easy to go fill up. We are required to have our trucks above the half mark on the dash. They can never get below that. Usually if we have 2 runs we better go fill up the truck. The only thing is there are only two gas stations out of 8 that only except the gas cards we use.

Posted about 1 month ago We have city owned pumps for our dept vehicles ( as well as PD). Gas is presently between 3.08 and 3.20. For the volunteers, does your department do any form of reimbursement for gas on POVs, or do you wait and do it at the end of the year as a tax write-off?

Posted about 1 month ago silverwulf said: you can use it as a tax write off?? never knew that one. the payment we get for the calls we run is usually enough to cover gas, and usually nothing else...
