This is my 3rd year in our fd's ladies auxillery and my first year as VP.
Most of our organization is the older generation who can't really get so involved anymore. Apparently I was elected in hopes to get more younger people into the group. It has come to my attention that the ladies do not get called very often by the fd because it had been difficult to get anybody to come out. Is there anyone out there that is or has been involved with an auxillery? and what kind of ideas are there to get more women to join? Right now it seems like my auxillery is more fund raising than fd support. and supporting the fd and my husband is why I joined in the first place. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
