Posted 2 months ago I wear my watch on my right arm. When people ask why, I don't really have an answer for them. Is it because I am a lefty that writes right handed (can write with both)? I don't know it's just where I have worn it since I was a kid. It feels uncomfortable on the left arm. My old chief said he fines it annoying and just wants to tell people to put their watch on the "right" I mean left arm. Pun intended! So where do you wear your watch?

Posted 2 months ago Mine goes on the right arm. I'm left handed and it gets in the way on the left arm. Anyone who has a problem with that can go pound sand. As far as I'm concerned, theirs is the wrong one.

Posted about 1 month ago Well this is good. It comes down to preference: If I wear mine on my right wrist, it is always in my way. If I wear it on the left wrist it always gets caught on something. Therefore I fixed it ,& now wear mine on a chain around my neck. LOL

Posted about 1 month ago I'm either making beds, doing laundry or digging in the garden. I got a pocket watch. Now I need to get a watch chain. I've already lost it out of my pocket twice and both times were on the couch (lol). I hate the shallow pockets in women's pants. Live by the Golden Rule

Posted about 1 month ago OK let me address that. I wear cargo pants, there are lots of deep pockets, however I have been known to leave my watch in one of the pockets & have laundered it. That's why I opted for the necklace chain or broach style. LOL

Posted about 1 month ago Well I guess I'll be the first to say I proudly wear my watch on my Left Wrist. I am right handed and therefore use my non-dominant arm for the task of telling time. Furthermore, for you lefties. I feel sorry for you that society has a dim view on those that are lefties. Wikipedia actually has some good information on the history of Lefties. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left-handed

Posted about 1 month ago That in which does not kill us, only makes us stronger. Don't feel sorry for us "southpaws" cause I wouldn't change being left handed for anything!

I can't seem to stop breaking watches no matter where they are. I've tried both arms and in the pocket. They all got broken. I'm afraid to try the around the neck thing. The psych patients might see that as a handle. Jenn, right on with the spelling. Maybe you could conduct an experiment to see which arm spells better. Then you would know which was smarter, and therefore, dominant. |

Posted about 1 month ago I'm a lefty, so I wear mine on the right hand.

Posted about 1 month ago I'm a righty, and I wear mine on my left. I've considered trying to teach myself how to be ambidextrous because they offer scholarships for people that can write with both hands! The only problem is, when I write with my right hand it looks like an 8 year old wrote it, and my left hand looks like a 3 year old wrote it! No winning either way.

Posted about 1 month ago I'm lefthanded too. So, I naturally wear mine on my right arm. Just would feel funny any other way.

OK I have a new one, it's a broach style, however the one on the chain is still my favorite though.... all you have to do is tuck it into your shirt. I am RT. hand dominate, but because of the wrist being dis-located, the radius & humorus bones being fractured, & a few other things, now this laceration, I am fully AMBIDEXTROUS.... my credit union says they can't tell the difference anymore...... I sure didn't have much of a choice to this. I do not consider myself 1 of the greatest, I do say I have adapted. LOL |
