Posted 7 days ago WELCOME! I THOUGHT WE MAY BE ABLE TO USE THIS GROUP TO SHARE IDEAS. I LIKE A SMALL TOWN AND FEEL MORE AT HOME THAN IN A LARGER CITY. IT DOES PRESENT PROBLEMS AT TIMES BUT OVERALL WELL WORTH ANY HEADACHES. |

| Posted 7 days ago Hey Brother! I too love small town life. It seems as if the brotherhood of the small town fire department is much more strong than any place else. And the community always supports you more and you feel more appreciated. I live in a small town, upstate NY, Near Albany, any time you are near here you have some home town hospitality waiting for you and yours!! Great Group brother, and proud to be in it. | Posted 7 days ago So I grew up not in a huge city but bigger than where I'm at now and I have to say that I do enjoy the smaller, tight knit community thing a lot more than I ever thought I would. Fruita Colorado, y'all should look it up sometime LOL. |

| Posted 6 days ago MORE COWS THAN PEOPLE DEFINETLY COUNTS AND I THINK EVERY TOWN HAS THIER FAIR SHARE OF PEOPLE A BIG AS COWS. I TOTALLY AGREE THE BROTHERHOOD OF A SMALL TOWN DEPARTMENT IS TIGHTER FOR ONE REASON IT HAS TO BE!!! AND TO ADD TO THAT I THINK THE BROTHERHOOD BETWEEN SMALL DEPARTMENTS IS TIGHTER BECAUSE WE KNOW WHAT EACH OTHER HAVE TO DEAL WITH.. |

| Posted 1 day ago I love working in a small department. I work with Greg (Firetec31) at Alexandria. I did my paramedic clinicals at a larger dept. and wow what a diffierence from our dept. They were all good guys and fun to get along with, but at our dept. we are a very close group of guys. One quick note why does it seem that the people big as cows have to call us for everything. |
