How may companies, departments, or units out there actually have problems within the infrastructure of the organization?  Where I am from it seems to be the smallest of towns.  In my company, when I joined a year ago, I realized that there were many flaws.  I was told by one of the Assistant Chiefs to not take sides to anything and just observe before I decide that I wanted to stay in the company or not.  Well, after many months, suspensions started to fly.  I was caught up in a whirlwind around me, but yet, I remained a bystander.  I am glad that I did.  Now the company is running smoothly.  We may have lost some of our fundraising, but at the same time we grew closer together with the ones that have been untouched.  Are there any other units out there that deal with this kind of thing?  I would like to blame it all on politics but again, would that be right?  Are there just people who believe they are right all the time and it is “their way or the highway”?  I am just curious.  I know I can help you if there are these problems.  We made it through ours.
