They say that no two departments helmets are exactly alike -- so what is yours like? Post a picture of it .

We use the standard Bullard shell. We are free to purchase a Ben ll or whatever we choose, so long as it is compliant. Rubberband, golf tees, lights, wedges, etc are optional.

Same as chase1's department here. Allot of us buy our own helmets though. All of us that buy our own get traditionals. I think most of us have Paul Connway American Calssics, they are allot more comfortable than the tactical-tupperwear that we are issued.

Golf tees are used for plugging broken or cut fuel lines. Likewise, we use wooden wedges to plug holes/tears in propane tanks. Non sparkable remedies.

I would love to have a traditional, but alas, some of us have families and alot of bills. We are free to use them if we buy one. Maybe someday. I have changed helmet colors 3 times in the last 2 years. Maybe if I buy one it will level out. I sure as hell don't want to, or forsee going up again. I am happy with red. : )

My dept. is buying some new gear and they are getting a traditional style Paul Conway helmet. I am not sure what model, but it is a heavy frickin helmet. I already have my chief's approval to where an older helmet that is still in good condition, but much lighter to wear.

We are issued the "modern" style by Bullard, but almost everyone buys their own 1010 or leather.

I wear a Cairns 1044 with a wedge and a garrity light. Well that was until I melted the light. I also have a picture of my little sister under the band sometimes. I ordered some ESS goggles for it as well.

Golf tees are useful for plugging holes in leaking drums.

Department issues us the Bullard (EMS helmets, NO OFFENSE). I purchased a Paul Conway American Heritage Leather. Added some Tets from Weston Sign with skulls on them (rock on). FTM-PTB

I have worn many types.  My favorites are Cairns 1010 and the old original Bullard CX traditional.  I save my N5A for "special fires"  it is kinda heavy for everyday use!
