Posted about 1 month ago BEAUTIFUL CHRISTIAN SISTER by Maya Angelou 'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean livin'' When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride. When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong. When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success. When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect, When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain… When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,

| Posted about 1 month ago Absolutely Awesome. I admit I have made alot of mistakes in my life, but I do learn my lesson the first time, so therefore I do not have to repeat it again. Tag your it on the "Beautiful Christian Sister's Day" Just to let you know I sent this all over Canada, where my family & friends are. It went from Halifax, N.S. to Vancouver, British Columbia. It really makes one think.... Seriously.!!!! This absolutely touched my heart & soul in many ways unmetionable. This is MYy Analagy Let me give you a great example, of what God is to me. We don't realize we all have a "Guardian Angel" , truly we do. I found this out the night of my accident. By the way some ANGELS are walking among us !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IOn Feb. 20 2008 I fell into my gramma's old 1940's antique mirror. It contained lead & silver & wood to say the least. All I was doing was trying on my spring & summer shoes to donate, or give away the ones I felt I didn't like anymore. The mirror exploded everywhere. I had severed my nerve & muscles on my right arm. I'm right hand dominate but alot of ways I'm ambidextrous. Good Thing. I called the EMTs, Matt (my diving friend) & his partner arrived; I kept saying I Didn't Want To Die. Everyone involved knew that I was a DNR. I was already a mess from waist to feet. They loaded me up & that was the end of it.......... I was gone. What you see on TV or read in a book is pretty much what I saw. People refer it to the light at the end of the tunnel, TRUST ME IT EXISTS. I arrived at the hospital & was immediatelt taken to the O.R. My girlfriend was at my side the whole time. I watched the Dr. sew me up....... 3 deep stitches, & 20+ outside. Two weeks later in March I eneded-up at my Dr. he performed a few needle aspirations, & took out more glass fragments. Once again I was starting to heal. No fat chance: In April, I had my last surgery to re-attach my muscle & only part of the nervecould be re-joined because of the damage, the other part of my nerve was implanted into my muscle...... Diagnosis is Neuroma Medial Antebrachial Cutaneous Nerve Severed & Damaged Chronically. I still have numbness from my elbow to my baby finger & no extension & grip.... I am working on this though. Physio Therapy 3 to 4 times per week. The hardest part to all of this is I live alone. It's called ADAPTATION & SURVIVAL.. I Truly Love GOD & he is the only man who has ever loved me unconditionally. I thank him & the Angels he sent to me that fateful night. I am a much better person for going through this. I don't look a gift horse in the mouth. One day at a time. I also wake up with a smile on my face & go to bed (after I have said my prayers), with a SMILE on my face. I do not ask for sympathy or your pity..... I am a much better person for having endured what I went through. I also try to take a negative & turn it into a positive.......... Live for today, cause you can't change the past, & You never know what tomorrow will bring. Stay Safe & God Bless You All............. Have A Great Night. LOL P.S. You all have a Guardian ANGEL even if you don't think so..... They walk among us to. Lest We Never Forget That.
