Handling the initial start.

Posted 5 months ago I just recently began volunteering and so far I've only gotten quick run downs of what to do when responding to a call. I've only been to one meeting so far and I'm already planning on going to the fire academy, but until I get my Osha Cert I'm kinda playing the guessing game as far as what to expect when I go on that first call. Can any of you give me some advice on what to do and what not to do as a rookie with no training yet? |

| Posted 5 months ago You really need to find out how things are done in your department. I can tell you all kinds of stuff, but that would be how we do it. Ask around at home. The largest room is the room for self improvement |
