Posted 4 months ago I would like to work with the Lawton FD when I get out of the Army, but I have no clue how often Lawton FD hires. Can anyone help me? Is it a good department to work for? |

| Posted 4 months ago I hope u get the application, and best of luck . When I was there in 1980 I was wondering the same thing . But my 1st wife had other plans !! So we went back to upstate N.Y. So again good luck ,hope u get what U want not what others want. |

| Posted 4 months ago Oklahoma State University Fire Service Training puts on several classes a year in Lawton, Oklahoma. It is always a great trip, a bit long but none the less a great trip. They usually schedule one of the Training Institutes there. My favorite is Advanced Auto Extrication! The area has several gigantic auto salvages and for 3 days we work different training scenerios focusing on new techniques and technologies. It is Mega-Wild!!! Eddie D. Howard
