Havannah is going to circle around on itself and hit Cuba if it even strengthens enough. I wouldn't worry to much about that one till mid next week when it makes landfall on Cuba.

What a deal.  Look at the track history for Gustav, as it got almost to Cuba it took a hard left, then back right.  Seems as if it is being guided right to the gulf and on to LA.  Curious.

HURRICANE GUSTAV IS EXPECTED TO MAKE LANDFALL ACROSS THE SOUTHERN

LOUISIANA GULF COAST MONDAY AFTERNOON. FROM THERE...THE HURRICANE

COULD STILL REMAIN A WEAK CATEGORY ONE HURRICANE AS IT NEARS THE

LOWER TOLEDO BEND RESERVOIR BY LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THE STORM IS

EXPECTED TO MAKE VERY SLOW PROGRESS WEST NORTHWESTWARD TOWARDS THE

INTERSTATE 20 CORRIDOR OF EAST CENTRAL TEXAS BY WEDNESDAY

AFTERNOON...PERHAPS AS A WEAK TROPICAL STORM...BEFORE DIMINISHING TO

A TROPICAL DEPRESSION LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY THURSDAY.

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS SUSTAINED NEAR 40 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS

WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE SOUTHERN HALF OF WEST CENTRAL LOUISIANA

AND DEEP EAST TEXAS AS EARLY AS MONDAY EVENING AND CONTINUE FURTHER

NORTH NEAR THE INTERSTATE 20 CORRIDOR OF NORTHWEST LOUISIANA AND

NORTHEAST TEXAS TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY. THIS WILL LIKELY RESULT IN

WIDESPREAD POWER OUTAGES... DOWNED TREES AND POWER LINES ACROSS

PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST LOUISIANA AND THE SOUTHERN HALF OF NORTHEAST

TEXAS. BEYOND THE WIND THREAT...ISOLATED TORNADOES WILL BE POSSIBLE

ACROSS ALL OF NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...NORTHEAST TEXAS AS WELL AS

PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS BEGINNING MONDAY AFTERNOON AND

WITH ISOLATED RAINFALL AMOUNTS AS HIGH AS 15 TO 20 INCHES...

CERTAINLY NOT OUT OF THE REALM OF POSSIBILITY WITH THIS LANDFALLING

HURRICANE EARLY INTO THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.

Oh goodness...here we go again.  I guess this week will be a long one for the guys in the plant.  Not to mention for those of us in emergency  services.  Everyone stay safe out there.
