| Posted 2 months ago Hehe, personally I'd like to see it hit about Corpus and bring us a bunch of rain. Flooding wouldn't break my heart either. But I know there is a huge difference between our flooding and yours. Maybe it could squeeze in between yall and Corpus and come hit us? Jeff Draper

| Posted 2 months ago ok Chase1 everytime these guys here at work think the H-word is coming anywhere close ... they decied we need to work " the weekend" and get things ready for the H-word. Yes the money is nice but I need rest too lol been here since 1979 and I have rode most of the storms out and will do so for a long time to come so it really doesn't matter to me but we really dont need it to come here. not enough housing in this area as it is lol |

| Posted 2 months ago This may be a good reason why not to live below sea level. Hurricane Ike may finish off what Katrina and Gustav did not. It would be nice if it did turn towards South Central Texas and dump some rain but no damage......steve-0 |

| Posted 2 months ago I agree. I just want some rain to green things up, cool things off, and put a damper on our brush fires that are becoming rampant again since they lifted the burn ban for most counties. I don't want michael to have to work harder than normal. I hear ya Mike, our department freaks everytime there is any event or holiday weekend and goes into the end of the world scenario. Planning is great, but 99% of the time nothing happens and it becomes like crying wolf. Jeff Draper

| Posted 2 months ago Hope those of you in the line of Ike make out ok. Here in PA we could use some rain. I'm getting a little tired of brush fires every other day. I haven't seen things this dry around here in quite some time. Take care all of you!!!!! We make a Living by what we get. We make a Life by what we give. |

| Posted 2 months ago No offence to anybody. But it (IKE) can stay away from the N.Carolina coast. We were lucky with Hanna. |

| Posted 2 months ago LMAO. This thing is now aimed at Galveston, but is still not going to make landfall until sometime around Saturday, so it has plenty of time to stroll around whatever direction it chooses. Jeff Draper

| Posted 2 months ago Some can be more accurate overall, but the path they end up with just averages all of these. Jeff Draper
