Defender Visor from Cairns

Posted 11 months ago I was wondering if anyone has used the new Defender visor that cairns has come out with. I have tried it on and it seems to fit my face pretty well. It also seems to provide pretty good eye protection. Just curious about other peoples success/failure with this new product. |

| Posted 11 months ago I have it and love it!! Got mine about 1 month ago after using another cairns helmet with the face shield. It was front heavy so I opted for the visor that stores away when not in use. Great functionality too!! |

| Posted 11 months ago I looked at this online how well does it work when wearing the scba as our SOP states we must have a sheild down when we have our SCBA's on. |

| Posted 11 months ago it looks all fine and dandy except. I do not like the fact it is not sealed and henceforth can allow embers, etc to close to your eyes. I will stick with my goggles One Shot. One Kill. Ready to die but never will!!!!! R.I.P. Chesty |

| Posted 6 months ago Believe it or not, that doesn't happen. I was in the middle of a field fire last month and no embers came flying up my shield. In fact it was a VERY windy day too and no problems what-so-ever. They touch down on to your cheeks so there wasn't much room for anything flying under the shield.
