I tried one site but they said I would have to come to Texas to take the skills. Alabama to Texas is a little too far for me.
Any suggestions?

Are there any other FFII's on your department? Do you have any members that are certified as a Fire Instructors/ Proctors? When I took my FFII, I was able to do it in house. Current FFII's could help with the skills stations and the Written was given by a Certified Proctor. If you don't have members in your department that are certified as proctors / Instructors, you'll really want to get it done. Your Department will save money and time in the long run. Not to mention be able to train and test neighboring departments. Good luck!
