Sorry, but this is a Youtube video link. Look at how this car ended up. It doesn't appear to be stabilized in any way, and they are working on the patient within proximity of it falling. Crazy.

In law enforcement we use the technical term “holy crap” to describe that. Don’t know what you firefighters call it.

Side stabilization with ResQJacks or equivalent, front/rear stabilization by either strapping/chaining to the vehicles in front and behind or if you had two apparatus with winches, putting one in front and back and applying tension.



Most likely, EMS got on location and extricated before the FD ever got there. We have that problem here, as dispatch will often wait to tone the FD till EMS has gone on location. I've AOLTF EMS inside a vehicle that was on its side, with no stabilization at all.
